News:Knockainey reach the County Semi Final with a 5 point victory over Patrickswell. Final score 2-15 to 1-13

Knockainey Gaelic Athletic Association was founded in 1936 and since then has been the main sporting organization in the Knockainey area.

The Club has won titles in all grades of Hurling and Football except  the big ones -Senior Hurling, & Senior & Intermediate Football.

Knockainey fielded teams in 10 different grades of hurling and in 7 grades of football  in 2004.

On behalf of Knockainey G.A.A. club I welcome you to our website www.knockaineygaa.ie.

We felt it necessary as a club, being in an era of modern technology to provide our supporters at home and abroad with prompt news and information in relation to Knockainey G.A.A. club.

I would encourage you to log onto the website regularly as we will have constant news and updates on fixtures, team news and results.

I want to wish all our club teams both in the juvenile and senior the best of luck for the coming season and to say thanks to all those who give of their time and effort to coach the different teams.

Finally I urge you to come out and support out teams whenever they are playing. Knockainey G.A.A. club has never been found wanting in terms of support over the years and long may this continue.
